Accelerating the pace of building Webex integrations and industry solutions, while bolstering the Webex Education Connector experience.

Overview

SAN JOSE, Calif. – June 30, 2021 – Cisco (NASDAQ: CSCO)

Cisco is excited to announce the completion of the acquisition of Involvio LLC, a leading student experience platform that is tightly integrated with Webex

Life today looks a little different; you are seeing it in the way people work and in the way students learn. In this world of hybrid work and hybrid learning, being able to collaborate and stay connected is more important than ever.

As an early adopter of the Webex open APIs and SDKs, Involvio’s integrations are among the fastest growing and most used in our ecosystem. The acquisition, together with the Involvio team’s extensive knowledge of our developer tools, will enhance Cisco’s education offerings and vertical solutions while also catalyzing the expansion of the Webex open platform for other developers.

With the addition of Involvio, Webex will accelerate the pace of building new integrations and expanding our industry solutions. One of these industry solutions, Webex Education Connector, has illustrated the growing demand for hybrid learning and proven that remote education can be effective and empowering for teachers, students and parents.
